G.Marino alias Zago, was born in Trieste(Italy) on 30/12/1949.He move to Verona in 1957,where he still lives.Self-taught,whit a certificate in advertising graphics,he starts to paint beginning of 1970.he does no take part in many group shows or solo exhibitions.A particular mention goes to a show held at the Hofstra University in New Jork where he exibits approx 20 oil paintings featuring unpublished foreshortened of Verona.
In 1994 he neglects the figurative painting to turn of informal abstract and to figurative mosaic.Fond of colour,it prevails on sign,though never in contrast.In 1999,responding to his innate fantasy and versatily,Zago undertakes digital-art.To be able to dedicate more time to painting,he is looking for an art agent to relieve him from commercial tasks.
