Artist painter and draftsman born in Vilanova i la Geltrú in
1948. He started his studies with the painter Salvador Masana disciple
of Joaquin Mir, and continued his studies at the school of Fine Arts
and Craft of Mallorca. Since 1966, when he showed his painting in public he has made about
80 solo exhibitions and participed in more than 150 collective exhibitions. His paintings are represented in important private collections in
many countries. Founder Member of the Artistic Circle of Vilanova in 1967. During
his youth he participated in several artistic competitions being
rewarded a many times. Now, his themes are specially dedicated to the mediterranean popular
arquitecture, and a still-life (studio-compositions) with a style
that has its roots in the Catalan School where delineation and coloration
play a principal main role His work develops through realism, confirmed by his excellent drawing
and his grasp of technique |
