Sandrine Aourat est née en 1980 à Montréal (Canada). Elle vit et travaille à Londres. Elle a étudié au Redsmiths College de Londres. Ses œuvres ont été montrées lors d’expositions personnelles au Naue Kunsthaus à Berlin en 1998, à la Kunsthalle de Vaduz en 1999, à l’Other Gallery de Cambridge (Royaume-Uni) en 2001 et au Hangar, Bruxelles, en 2002 et au DET, Francfort, en 2003. En France elle a participé aux expositions de groupe « Zero/One » à l’Aeb à Paris en 2000, « Comment ça va ?» au Centre culturel islandais à Paris en 2003. En 2005, ses œuvres ont été exposées à Bourréac et au Centre d’Art International de Bordeaux et, en 2006 et 2007, à la Brouwern Gallery, Dublin à la Galerie Le Ciel Bleu, Mulhouse, à la Galerie Berndt Mudnro, Hambourg, et au Hangar, Bruxelles. Elle est représentée en France par La Bergerie – Lieu d’Art Contemporain.

In 2005, her works have been seen in Bourréac and at the Centre d’Art International de Bordeaux and, in 2006 and 2007, at the Brouwern Gallery, Dublin, at the Galerie Le Ciel Bleu, Mulhouse, at the Galerie Berndt Mudnro, Hamburg, and at the Hangar, Bruxelles. In France, La Bergerie – Lieu d’Art Contemporain, represents her.
